If Republicans Refuse, Will Epstein Survivors Create and Make Public Their Own List?

I
n one of the more stunning moments in a series of 2 press conferences today outside the U.S. Capitol featuring survivors of sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, the powerfully believe and persuasive group announced a survivor-led initiative to compile and eventually release the names of Epstein’s known associates, citing frustration with government inaction and secrecy.

Lisa Phillips, a survivor and organizer, said the group has lost faith in institutional transparency:

“The FBI and DOJ stated no list of Epstein’s clients exists. Survivors are unified in calling for transparency and full document disclosure—so we’re taking it into our own hands.”

The initiative will collect firsthand accounts, flight logs, social ties, and survivor testimony to construct what Phillips called “a comprehensive accountability map.”

Phillips emphasized that the project is not about political point-scoring, but truth:

“This isn’t partisan. It’s personal. We deserve to know who enabled this abuse. And we’re going to name them.”

Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle, including Reps. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Thomas Massie (R-KY), backed the survivors’ demands and reaffirmed support for the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

Several survivors and advocates blasted Trump and other public figures for minimizing the scandal.

“We’re tired of the gaslighting. We know what happened. We lived it. And we’re going to tell the world,” said Phillips.

Depending on what happens next, The survivor-led “client list” project could release its first wave of names by the end of the year.
